Our name is drawn from Queen Makeda of Sheba, a ruler remembered not for excess, but for wisdom, discernment, and the ability to unite worlds. Like her legendary journey bearing rare treasures across continents, MAKEDA carries something precious: mastery distilled into every pearl of caviar.


True luxury is never accidental. It is cultivated slowly, protected fiercely, and shared with intention.

Heritage & Craft

At the heart of MAKEDA lies an uncompromising respect for tradition.


Our caviar is hand-selected under the guidance of Master Caviar Selector Milad Bakhtiari, born in Iran — one of the historic birthplaces of caviar culture. His expertise is shaped by generations of Iranian craftsmanship and decades of disciplined palate training.


Every tin is selected by hand, never mechanised. Pearls are assessed for size, sheen, maturity, aroma, and balance — a process guided as much by intuition as by technique. This is selection by mastery, not volume.


Time is our rarest ingredient. Sturgeon are allowed to mature naturally, sometimes over decades, before harvesting. We honour age-old methods that respect the fish, the environment, and the integrity of flavour. Luxury, after all, cannot be rushed.

Selection & Responsibility

MAKEDA works exclusively with trusted farms that uphold the highest standards of animal welfare, sustainability, and traceability.

Our caviar is preservative-free, responsibly sourced, and handled with absolute precision from harvest to table.


Production is intentionally limited. Partnerships are carefully chosen. Distribution is selective.


We do not pursue scale. We preserve excellence.
